MISSING IN ACTION: 17 August 2022

I didn't get to the 40-some page Joseph Conrad story because I loved this poem so much. They were the words I needed right now, on this very day, like magic ... to remind me of my values.

A lovely day, the weather here, as you can see in the photo above.

Well, you can’t tell. It might be overcast or maybe hot and humid, but trust me: Low 70s, with a breeze, like Heaven.

And my mood is down, and then I sit down to read and write, and tada: The newest volume, XVI, starts with a poem by a poet I’ve never heard of … or maybe forgotten.
